Timothy Thomas Thompson, 68, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on May 5, 2026.
Born on September 3, 1957, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Timothy was the son of Cecil and Evelyn Thompson. A hardworking and dedicated businessman, Timothy was a skilled mechanic who proudly owned and operated TNT Automotive in Palmyra for many years. Later, he became the owner of the Buckboard Diner in Borden, where he continued serving his community with the same commitment and passion that defined his life.
Timothy shared 51 wonderful years with his lifelong partner, Darlene Thompson, in Palmyra, where they built a life centered around love, family, and cherished memories. He found great joy in horses, gardening, family cookouts, and, above all, spending time with those he loved most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Evelyn Thompson; his stepmother, Sydinia Sue Thompson; his sons, Timothy Michael Thompson and James Thomas Thompson; his brother, Dale Thompson; and his grandson, Karson Bolen.
Timothy is lovingly remembered by his lifelong partner, Darlene Thompson; his son, Christopher (Carrie) Thompson; his brothers, Doug (Belinda) Warren and Anthony Thompson; his grandsons, Michael Thompson, Timothy Thompson, David Thompson, and Kasen Bolen; and his granddaughters, Jessica Thompson and Abby Mayfield; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. the same day.
Cremation will follow the service, with burial at a later date in Palmyra Cemetery.
