Salvador Jaso Obituary

Salvador Jaso, age 89, of Palmyra, IN passed away on February 18, 2021 at Autumn Woods Health and Rehab in New Albany, IN. He was born in Gary, IN, on February 06, 1932 to Esiquio and Carmen (Moya) Jaso. Salvador married Irene (Cottrell) Jaso on December 22, 1951, and were happily married for 68 years. He was a Teamster Truck driver for many years, a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Cadiz, KY. Salvador enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Irene; Daughter, Christina; great-grandchild, Owen Bragg; and one brother, Rueben Jaso.

Salvador is survived by his two sons Richard (Linda) Jaso, Randal (Debroah) Jaso; daughter, Donna Lile; six grandchildren, Richard (Brandy) Jaso II, Kari (Eric) Colchin, Sheri (Ted)Grimmer, Stefany (James) Bragg, Keith Rehmel, and Ashley (Robert) Bellow; twelve great- grandchildren; as well as one sister, Mary Castellanos.

Cremation was chosen, with a funeral mass and burial to be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church at a later date.
