Marengo, IN, Maurine M. Christley, age 79, passed away peacefully at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. She was born on April 15, 1943 to Lucille Tester in Spokane, Washington. Maurine worked and retired from Tyson Foods in Corydon, IN. She graduated from Clarksville High School. Maurine enjoyed arts, crafts, singing, and adventuring, but most of all she love spending time with her grandchildren.
Maurine is Preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Zippy; one aunt LaRenea Rippy; one uncle Carl Rippy; and brother Dale Rippy.
She is survived by her fiancé, William Rex Shannon; one daughter, Robin Shannon; one son, William (Sandy) Christley; six grandchildren, Richard Christley, William Christley, Michael Christley, Matthew Shannon, Anna (Ryan) Seymour, Timothy Shannon; as well as ten great-grandchildren
Cremation was chosen. In lieu of flowers and gifts donations can be made in Maurine’s name to an Animal shelter or Arbor foundation of your choice.
