MaryAnn (Branham) Shrewsbury

Greenville, IN, MaryAnn (Branham) Shrewsbury, went to be with her heavenly father on Monday August 29, 2022. She was born in New Albany Indiana on February 26, 1937, to Jesse and Leila (Casey) Branham. MaryAnn married Robert Shrewsbury on September 03, 1955. She was a lifelong member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown, Indiana. She worked and retired from Greenville Elementary School as a Literacy tutor. MaryAnn enjoyed sports, especially any her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were playing, Sunday dinners, and shopping for bargains. She loved her community, her church, and spending time with friends and family.

MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents; Husband; one brother, Jay Allen Branham; and one sister-in-law, Becky Branham.

She is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Turnage; son, Tim (Debbie) Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Lincoln (Rachel) Turnage, Natalie (Bryan) Schuminski, Isabel Barker, three great-grandchildren, Campbell Turnage, Sutton Turnage, Hollis Turnage; as well as two sister-in-laws, Carol Shrewsbury and Thelma Hagerman.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday September 01, 2022 at Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown, IN. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN, and again on Thursday September 01, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Indian Creek Baptist Church. Interment will be at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, IN.
