Joseph S, Goodwin, Sr.

Palmyra, IN, Joseph S. Goodwin Sr., age 55, passed away at his home on December 25, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 15, 1965 to Paul and Doris (Roy) Goodwin. Joe married Christina (Higginbotham) Goodwin on May 18, 1996. He worked as a machine operator for Champion Wood Products in Sellersburg, IN. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janet Maulia; and one brother Timothy Goodwin.

Joe is survived by his wife; five children, Joseph Goodwin Jr., Tristen (Michael) Drust, Cody Goodwin, Duel Goodwin, Janet Goodwin; three brothers, David (Becky) Roy, Paul (Frances) Goodwin, Mark (Renee) Goodwin; and one sister, Paula (Mike) MacDonald; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be held the same day from 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Central Barren Cemetery in New Salisbury, IN following the service. Love Funeral home is in charge of the service.
