Elizabeth Carol (Collett) Hay

Palmyra, IN, Elizabeth Carol (Collett) Hay, age 60, passed away peacefully at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.  Liz was born on January 31, 1962, in Beverly County, KY, to Lloyd and Vadie (Collett) Collett. She married Charles Hay on October 26, 1990. Liz was a member of the Beacon Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Liz enjoyed cooking, flowers, and Kentucky Basketball, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and the time she spent with each one.

She is preceded in death by her father, and husband.

Liz is survived by her, mother, Vadie Collett; one daughter, Martha (Perry) Mason; two sons, Charles (Jennifer) Hay, Nathan (Courtney) Hay; six grandchildren, Lauren (Jacob) Garrett, Daniel Hay, Samuel Hay, Issac Hay, Logan Hay, Ziza Mason; two great-grandchildren, Jace Garrett, Livvy Garrett; four sisters, Loshia Mason, Dorothy Whitehead, Mary (Wayne) Denham, Theresa (Michael) Wheatbrook; two brothers, Russell (Loretta) Collett, Taylor (Barbara) Collett; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday October 03, 2022, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday October 02, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Monday October 03, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Kays Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, IN.
