David Seymour Beswick

Hardinsburg, IN, David Seymour Beswick, age 74, passed away at his home on Monday January 16, 2023. Dave was born in New Albany IN, on April 22, 1948, to Seymour B. and Helen Louise (Scharf) Beswick. He was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church. David worked and retired as a self-employed salesman. He earned a B.A. in Theological studies. He was the founder and director of New Life Training Center in New Albany, IN. Dave enjoyed Indiana University Basketball, reading, talking to friends, especially his best friend Jeff, and spending time with his dog “Baby Girl”.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vickey Mahoney, Pamela Morris.

Dave is survived by his brother, Joe (Frankie) Beswick; two sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Blackman, Theresa Ann (Robert) McLeid; two Stepsons; one step-grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.  

Funeral service will be held at 3p.m. on Thursday January 19, 2023, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be on the same day from 1p.m. until time of service at Love Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen with Love Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
