Charles Henry Wise

Jeffersonville, IN, Charles Henry Wise, age 78, passed away peaceful at his home on September 20, 2021. He was born in Lebanon, Ky, on March 21, 1943 to Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Yankey) Wise. Charlie graduated from St. Augustine Catholic High School in Lebanon, Ky. He was a truck driver who  worked for Davis Brothers Oil and the Pilot Corporation for over twenty years each, finally retiring from Pilot in 2019. Charlie loved his job, Traveling, Camping and spending time with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one step-daughter, Deborah Smith.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Fannie (Bowling) Wise; three sons, Tim (Rosemarie) Wise, Michael (Charie) Wise, Christopher Wise; one daughter, Julie (Mike) LeBlanc; one step- daughter, Donna Yvonne (Paul) Bowe; one step son-in-law, Jay Smith; one brother, Eddie (Judy) Wise; one sister, Betty Ann (Buddy) Wheatly; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; as well as one faithful companion “Tracker”.

Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m., on Friday September 24, 2021 at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday September 23, 2021 and again on Friday September 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Love Funeral Home. Interment will be at Palmyra Cemetery in Palmyra, IN.
