Carolyn Mae (Burdine) Duvall, of Fredericksburg, IN, passed away on April 01, 2024, She was 71 years old.
Born on March 4, 1953, to Raymond and Ivalene (Cromer) Burdine in Brodhead, KY, Carol brought warmth and kindness into the world from the very beginning.
Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. Her genuine care for others shone through in every aspect of her life. For twenty-five years, she worked diligently for Phillip Morris, where her kindness and dedication undoubtedly left a lasting impact on those around her.
One of Carol's greatest joys was found in the simple pleasures of life. She had a green thumb and found solace and joy in gardening, particularly among her beloved flowers. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and she created cherished memories with her family, coworkers, and friends through the delicious meals she lovingly prepared.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ivalene Burdine, her sister Wanda Sowle, and her brother Larry Burdine. While she may have left this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Mark Duvall; her two sons, Shane and Tricia Jones and Josh and Laura Rose; her brother, Johnny (Debbie) Burdine; her cherished grandchildren, Shane Jones Jr., Jaylynn Hinman, and Viktor Rose; and her faithful companion, "Bandit."
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 12pm to 5pm at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Funeral services will follow at 5pm, as we come together to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman and bid her a fond farewell.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital in Carol's memory, continuing her legacy of love and compassion in the world.
